Ok, it’s been like 3 months since I haven’t written on this blog.
I recall saying in my first entry that I wasn’t going to do what I did … that is what everybody says. Like that known phrase “never say never” (if you know spanish I’m sure you will get the exact expression)
Actually I haven’t have the time to take care of this page, but I think this is a nice place to post many things.
My wish is to have a digital camera to post all the photos I would like to share… That is in my Santa’s wish list for this year-.
Another thing, nobody knows about the existence of this blog, and then I ask, why the hell? everybody has fotologs, blogs so far and so forth and why don’t I shout to the world about this blog? Ok, not shout but let people know.
I think I’m going to start posting more often, in the near future I will acquire a camera and this will have more colour, I promise.
But for the meantime you people will be learning about me, or about anything I write.
Also, I will let people know about this. What do I have to hide? The answer: nothing. Plus, (this is for my English teacher) this is a nice way of keeping up with my English, I don’t have the rythm of writing a diary to practise the language daily… but I do have the time to spend doing nothing on the web, so: why don’t I mix this and take advantage of things?

Bernal: my hometown
When people ask you which is your favourite place in the planet, what do you say?
Actually, I have never been asked this question but it is a very common one among interviews to famous people.
I someone asks me this I would have to say several places. One of my favourite places in the planet is Bernal, my hometown, the city where I have always lived in.
![]()
Bernal is a small town which belongs to the city of Quilmes (yep, Quilmes, the same Quilmes as the famous beer). 18 km away from Buenos Aires city, Bernal has evolved through the years. Before being a city, this part of the province was full of weekend houses since many people used to come to this place for the weekend or the summer due to the closeness to the river, Río de la Plata (in English language the River Plate).
The main street is 9 de Julio, where you will find stores of all kind from ice-cream shops to cafés, from real state business to boutiques. There are also several jewelry shops and 2 car parks.
In the surroundings there are schools and institutes, as well as colleges.
You know which is my favourite part? That everyone knows you -at least that is what happens to me- I love to say hello to people, just to wave at them and that is what happens in Bernal.
You wave at the people sitting at the cafés,
you say hello to the policeman,
you hug the guy who delivers coffee in Bonafide,
you wave at the guy in the men’s clothing shop,
or at the ice-cream shop’s owner
you say ‘how you’ doing?’ to the remis drivers,
you wave at your kindergarden teacher,
you meet -and feel an undescriptable feeling of protection- your first teacher at primary school
you see at the teacher you hated most walking in across the street…
You see everyone that in a different but memorable way has taken part of your life and of course has a small place inside your heart.
I think this is what Bernal means to me, and when I want to feel like home I just go and walk along 9 de Julio for all these things to happen…

…
It’s been quite a while I haven’t written, there are lots of things to say but I never know where to start from. Doesn’t it happen to all of you?
It’s quite frustating to have so many things to say but don’t know who to talk to, or where to start telling.
I sometimes think our lives are little stories all together. Stories that happen every day, like chapters of a book. Sometimes they continue and sometmes they finish in one day. Sometimes they are long, sometimes they are short. Sometimes interesting, some others boring. But anyway, no matter all these aspects they are very important for us, for our lives, for our thoughts, for our memories.
What if we don’t -or can’t- remember all those memorable moments in lives? (and by memorable I don’t only refer to nice moments) It is true that we would like to delet many things, but those ‘wishing to delet’ are the ones that make us grow stronger, they give us courage to move on.

Welcome, Willkommen, Yo kozo, Bienvenidos!
I am kind of new at this and I hope I can keep up with having a blog!
I think it is kind of a ‘huge’ responsibility (of course there are other responsibilities). Everyone can see this and we shouldn’t start doing something and then just forget about it, leave it there and not going on with it… I think I am that kind of people, shit!
Frankly, I admire all those people who have the innate abillity of writing, taking wonderful pictures and posting them… I also think this innate ability can grow together with some practise, right?
I am sure few people read everybody’s blogs, but who knows! I have doing my homework, I have done some research on other blogs and they are quite fun. Some of them about people’s lives, some others about cooking, or about restaurants and cafés… there are no boundaries in this blog thing.
